The items of headwear are shown with close-up details of their shapes, construction, and decoration, alongside images from the same time period to provide context. This is the third in a series of books each focusing on a different group of objects.
The authors, Alan and Vanessa Hopkins, have been collecting historical clothing, textiles and accessories in the United Kingdom for more than fifty years.
